Foehn

Föhn is a peculiar thing. It is a type of wind which blows over the Alps (and no doubt other mountain ranges in the world as well). It has mood-altering effects on the inhabitants of Munich and neighbouring areas.

In fact, if a Munich resident is feeling dizzy, sick, depressed, has a headache, or is non-specifically ill any other way, then you can guarantee that someone will say: oh, it must be the Foehn
