Fixed that for you

Fixed that for you is not unique to TT actually, but found on many forums when quoting someone. You fix the person's quote to read as you wish it had read in the first place. It's a compact way of expressing your opinion on the matter, but doesn't generally contribute a whole lot to the discussion. Generally guaranteed to piss off the original poster.

Here's a nice summary: http://forum.orioleshangout.com/forums/showthread.php?t=51890

------------------------------------"Fixed that for you"A recent epidemic has swept over the hangout of people posting "fixed that for you" and editing a quoted post from someone else.

Now, am I the only one that finds this practice completely rude and snarky? If you disagree with what someone said, why not post your counterpoint and not just show-up someone else with this tactic? Its so unbelievably condescending, basically the "fixer" is saying, "you're dead wrong you simpleton, let me change your words so that you can think like me." So smart alecky.

Also, its other sins include being unoriginal and unfunny.------------------------------------
