Feilitzschstraße
Feilitzschstraße is a little street in
Schwabing. It runs East-West from
Münchner Freiheit to the
English Gardens.
Well known bars and restaurants on this street are
Mama's Kebap House,
Drugstore, and a branch of
McDonalds.
At number 23 there was for many years an Irish pub called
Mulligans. This closed in 2004 and was replaced by an Italian joint called
Pasta e Basta.
At number 26 is
Float, a place where you can lie in warm flotation tanks and experience full sensory deprivation.
Due to it's location in the heart of Schwabing, this would be an extremely desirable place to live. Only negative aspect might be the noise - unless you have good double glazing or the apartment is in a "Hinterhof" (i.e. a back building).
The street was also home to the nobel prize winning novelist
Thomas Mann as well as the artist
Paul Klee.
