Ernst Lechthaler is a bar-keeper and owner of a small chain of bars in Munich.
He owns the L-Lounge 2 bar in the Mathäser cinema complex and L-Opera next to the Munich Opera House. He also owned a bar called L-Bar on Wurzerstrasse in the Altstadt but as of August 2005 it is not clear whether that bar will remain under his ownership or even open at all.
Ernst Lechthaler was born in the South Tyrol. During his long bar keeping career he has served drinks to many famous celebrities including Sharon Stone and Michael Jackson.
