Clique

Toytown Germany is occasionally accused of being a clique. This, however, is simply not true. The definition of a clique is: "an exclusive group of members that is not welcoming to outsiders and newcomers". TT, however, is not exclusive. All English-speakers in Germany are invited to read and take part. The aim is to be as welcoming as possible to newcomers. Admittedly, TT is not always successful in that aim, but for the most part it is.

While TT is not itself a clique, it does in fact contains cliques. The same is true for any large community.
