Cinema Muenchen

Cinema Muenchen is by far the best known and most popular English cinema in Munich. The cinema only has one hall, but it is fairly large and is kitted out with an excellent quality sound system. Nearly every film shown here is in the original language, i.e. English. They do sometimes show other foreign films, usually with German subtitles.

Advance reservations are advisable. The best way to reserve is over the internet. When it comes to newly released blockbusters reservations are absolutely essential for the Friday or Saturday night showings, although you might sometimes be able to pick up cancelled tickets at the door last minute.

The foyer area has a few tables and chairs where you can have a coffee or bottled beer whilst waiting for the theatre to open. The bar also sells the obligatory popcorn as well as nachos with cheese or salsa and Ben & Jerry's ice cream.
