Buddhist monastery - Munich

There is a buddhist monastery in Munich located in the neighbourhood of the Giesing rail station. It was founded here in 1999 by the Thai community.

There is another Buddhist Monastery in Freising, started in Feb 2009 by a German monk following the Theravada tradition. The resident monks speak fluent English.
