Have a craving for a really good T-bone steak?
A frequent complaint about Munich is that the steak bought at markets and butchers here is mediocre, tough and tasteless. The Argentinian stuff isn't great either. And the so-called steak houses don't excite.
So how about a nice slab of Iowa corn fed beef?
There's probably no Iowa corn fed here. But there are a couple of good butchers. Although, apparently, the cows are killed a bit young and the beef is rarely hung.
