BMW are an automobile and motorcycle manufacturers based in Munich, Germany. BMW is an acronym for "Bayerische Motoren Werke", or in English, "Bavarian Motor Works". The company is the world's largest premium carmaker and is the parent company of the BMW, MINI and Rolls-Royce car brands (and, formerly, MG, Rover and Land Rover) and have recently purchased the motorcross, enduro and supermoto motorbike specialist Husqvarna of Sweden.

The BMW Headquarters (also known as the Four Cylinder Building) is a Munich landmark. The tower was built between 1968 and 1972. It stands 101m tall and is located in direct proximity of the Olympiapark. It is often mentioned as one of the most notable examples of modern architecture in Munich.
