Altstadt

The word "Altstadt" is the German word for "Old city center". Literally the word just means "Old town".

Munich's Altstadt is the area within the innermost ring road, the "Altstadtring". It is bounded to the north, south, and east by Odeonsplatz, Isartor, and Karlsplatz respectively.
