Aldi is an international supermarket chain. They have stores worldwide including in the USA, Canada, Australia, the UK, and throughout Europe.
Their Southern German division is called Aldi Süd. Aldi Nord has a slightly different logo - generally same shape, but different colors. The Aldi brothers feuded a while ago and divided up the chain into two. The Nord brother smokes and his Aldi sells cigarettes, the Süd brother doesn't and his Aldi doesn't sell tobacco products.

Most stores have the exact same opening times. These are:
8.30am - 8pm Monday to Friday
