Accent training

Accent training is sometimes sought by people when they wish to improve their command of a foreign language. It is one thing to be able to speak a second language, it is another thing to be able to speak it with an accent which is indistinguishable from a native speaker's accent.

Native English-speaker in Munich sometimes seek out training to improve their German accent.

The German word for "accent training" is "Aussprachetraining" - from the word "Aussprachen" which means "to pronounce".

There are courses at Volkshochschule which provide accent training and feedback suggests that they're quite good.
