The Munich chapter of the American-German Business Club holds nine networking sessions per year. Attendance is open to anyone interested in international business dynamics. To receive an invitation to the next networking evening send your details via email to: munich@agbc.de

The AGBC exists to promote inter-cultural business networking. Typically between 50 and 80 people will attend the meetings, which are held on the last Wednesday of the month except July, August and December, from 7pm. The club currently meets at the Marriott in Berlinerstrasse, Schwabing.

Membership costs €75 per year. Admission to the events for members is free. Admission for guests is €30. This includes a buffet dinner and two drinks.

Tips for first-timers:

Don't be shy. The meetings are all about getting to know new people and building your network of contacts. So make sure you bring lots of business cards. Dress code varies. It depends on how you want to present yourself. Whatever you choose, don't forget to wear a smile.

When you arrive, pick up an attendee list - this will help you in pinpointing people who may be of interest to you - for example, taxation advisors, headhunters, relocation firms.

The official language is English - so even if you don't speak a word of German (yet) you'll be ok. Other nationalities are, of course, welcome.
