Zur Dicken Spohie is located conveniently next to the exit of Johannekirchen S-bahn the bus stop. On the edge of suburban Munich, this Gaststätte and Biergarten is a hit all year round. The inside is bright and airy thanks to the "Wintergarten" glass-roofed annex, whilst the beer garden is nicely shaded by trees. The offered is a mixture of Austrian and Bavarian cuisine. The beer served is "Ayinger". Most evenings are quite busy throughout the week so reservations for larger groups are recommended.
