Zum Flaucher - Munich

Lovely little beer garden which we visited yesterday. Nice walk down the Isar. Encountered a lot of other folks with their dogs and were happy to take a nice break at the Flaucher, which is in a beautiful spot!

has the best Riesenbrezen in town. Fact.

Although they have an indoor restaurant, I have only (but frequently) visited their beer garden. Mainly because they offer some of the best food in the Southern part of the Isar Auen. As usual they have a self-service as well as a service area with tablecloths. I agree with the previous poster, their Riesenbrezen are the best in town. Great place for a food break while riding your bike. But also worth a little detour of the Mittlere Ring or when visiting the Munich Zoo nearby. Everything is fresh and tasty. Their food is always a welcome change, especially when comparing it to one of my least favorite beer gardens along the Isar.
