Ysenegger - Ysenburgstrasse 3, 80634 Munich, Germany

Ysenegger is a good and somewhat cosy cafe that also turns out to be a good spot for a night out. They have a wooden interior, a grand chandelier over the entrance and Steh tische (you are now familiar with the concept from Teatro).

A good DJ works the turntables at night and they switch on coloured lights and a mirror ball to turn the place (almost) into a disco. Nobody was dancing the night I was there but I guess it crossed the minds of several people. User-friendly bar-staff, just attract their attention and they will be right with you.

Studenty-plus feel, meaning a good mix of students and young professionals. It is more the type of place where you would drink a Weissbier instead of cocktails, and since it is just two U-bahn stops from Cinema, it should be easy to check out after the film instead of going to Enchilada like everybody else does.

Only been here for lunch, but it's a fine place. You can get a huge English breakfast here, the service is good, and they have a nice shaded outdoor area on the quiet street side. Try the chili, its top. Their menu is on the website: http://www.ysenegger.de/
