WasserWerk - Wolfgangstr. 19, 81667 Munich, Germany

This is a small pub / bar / restaurant not too far from Max-Weber-Platz (5 mins) and has really brilliant food, and great drinks. The service here is friendly, and is run by two brothers. reached from Max-Weber platz go up Einsteinstrasse (out of town) and the first right, and then keep ahead, go over the crossroads on the right hand side.. quite easy to miss, but go in and order the kasespätzle -> really good. The food helpings are good, and tasty. The barmen have been trained in cocktail mixing in a good school and the cocktails are really good here. Happy hour from 18-20 and 23-openend every day....

Been there twice with friends. First time, the bar was full, so we asked the bartender if he could give us the next available table. He said yes and we waited outside. When we saw people coming out, we stepped back in and were told that the just-vacated table was already given away to other people, since we "were gone". Next time, we had a reservation for a birthday party. Only 2 people out of our party ate something and we were told off for that, and also that next time, we would be crouched together in the uncomfortable bar area (a party of 10, by the way; they made enough money with us even if most of us didn't eat something). Totally unfriendly and incompetent staff, but I do have to admit the food I had was really great.
