A very cool bar. Located on Briennerstrasse near Odeonsplatz. Spacious with a chilled ambience and an easy going crowd of all ages. Try and grab one of the knee height lounging areas in the corners. Recommended!

Yes, indeed. The Volksgarten ist very "loungie" But the chairs aren't comfortable at all. The Corners are right to sit down, read a good book and have a cup of "Bergtee".

The best service I have ever had in Munich, the waiter was attentive and even friendly! The menu changes day to day based on the Chef, it is small but great. There are a few staples like a huge gourmet hamburger that my friend ordered and pasta dishes. They also do breakfast from 10-12 Su-Fri. I had the Lamm Chops, probably one of the best meals I've had in Munich. The atmosphere is great, ranging from linen table-clothed tables to couches in the corner, there's really something for everyone. Do make reservations though if you plan on going on the night of a play, it can get full pretty quick! I highly recommend this place. Oh and the drinks are good too!
