Trinkhalle - Baaderstr. 68, 80469 Munich, Germany

I had a great time tonight at Trinkhalle, which just opened a few weeks ago right off the Frauenhoferstrasse U-bahn exit on Baaderstrasse.

This place had a realy lounge-y atmosphere and has cool lighted tables, an extremely friendly bar staff, fast service, good prices and a cool picture of Bruce Lee intergrated into the lighted tile walls. I had three different cocktails, all very good. It's about the size of Ksar club but not as smoky.

Highly recommended for a drink or two, nice place to meet up with friends.

By far one of the friendliest and most down-to-earth barkeepers in munich. Extremely competent as well. Usually asks what kind of drink you're in the mood for and is more than happy to recommend drinks. If you don't like what he comes up with he'll take it back and mix you a new one. It's a lot of fun just watching him work as he uses a lot of fresh herbs such as ginger, rosemary and basil. A definite must for cocktail affectionados. Not neccessarily the place to go if you're looking for a party on a weekend, but I can certainly recommend it if you're looking for a place to hang out with friends.
