Tresznjewski - Theresienstrasse 72, 80333 Munich, Germany

How can you pick a name that no-one can pronounce? Go on, try it. Nice place but very tight for space in front of the bar - go out the side or back section to find bigger tables and longer benches.

Cool to relax here after you tried to look intelligent by visiting the nearby Pinakotek. The waitresses will bring you down back to Earth and the art on the walls is worthy of a second glance too, especially the pervy one in back. Some anecdotes of abrupt behaviour by the waiters, but minor stuff, and we generally get good service and have fun here.

Some people have difficulties spelling this one. Alternatives are: Trenevski, Tresnevski, Treznevski, Tresnewski, Tresznjewski, etc...

I'm very happy to announce that this restaurant now has a large non-smoking section. So along with being open from 8am-4am, you can get your late night food fix in a smoke-free enviroment. Exciting news!

great, i'll try it then. It's hard to find smokefree restaurants in this city! :-(

Decided to go there today for the first time - only to find it is 'undergoing refurbishment' (although it must have been a rather suddden decision as there is nothing going on and all the chairs/tables etc still present). No indication when it will reopen - only that 'it will...' Doh!

Was pretty disappointed about this place, because I remember it being a lot better. Went here for brunch in a group of 5 and it took nearly and hour before our food came (dishes arrived at different times, too). Sadly, the hungriest person at the table coincidently a pregnant woman, got served her food last, and she only ordered a burger and chips. Another lady in our group was shocked to get the bill as she was charged €9 for a mediocre glass of Sancere. I had a "wellness frühstück", which was only okay. They had starfruit on the plate, which looks great as deco, but is sour and not too pleasant to eat. The rest of the fruit was unfortunately bland, which was disappointing given that it's beginning of June, so there's a lot of fresh fruit in season right now. I guess this place is okay for a casual meeting for drinks, but I don't recommend eating here, especially if the place is busy.
