Tres Hombres calls itself a "Mexican Bar - Restaurant - Cafe". Sporting an authentic Mexican cuisine at great prices, this great find has a nice atmosphere. The bar is run by a Spanish guy Roberto who is ALWAYS SO HAPPY to see you. Wooden benches and tables with Spanish/Mexican music in the background complete the ambience. Between the four of us we had one HUGE Hamburger, an immense slab of Ribs, a great Pollo Fajita and very nice Burrito Pollo. Total price with beer, salads, entrees and a smile was about 60 euros total for the four of us.



The head cook Will is from Michigan and told us about his process of preparing the food. He goes and buys his own ingredients fresh instead of having them delivered. He also adds rich spices and flavor to every item rather than just serving it up the way that other Mexican places do. Nice guy. He also is a painter on the side and incidentally helped paint Bondi, Kilian's and several other pubs in the area so some people on this board probably already know him!

To get there: U3 to Brudermühlstraße and head East on Brudermühlstr. for two blocks. (Head toward the factory smoke stacks.) It is the last building on the right before the road turns into Candidstrasse. Corner of Schäftlarnstrasse and Brudermühlstraße.
