Trastevere is a great little neighborhood restaurant, with fresh pasta and several specials every day. They also have good pizzas. I have been here many times, since I live nearby, and find that the food just keeps getting better. The last visit I had fresh pheasant and they were also offering fresh grilled branzino as well as their own excellent tortelli with spinach and ricotta. Great homemade desserts include tiramisu and profiteroles.

One waiter is very fluent in English; the other understands English but will only speak German (so far). They're both very nice young guys and the service is great. Very near to the Botanical Garden and to Schloß Nymphenburg. They have exactly one red wine (Montepulciano) and two whites (Trebbiano and cannot recall the other).
