We love this place. Great drinks, great service and the atmosphere is right on target with the food. If nothing else, come from the ribs.

Went to Trader Vics last night for cocktails & dinner and thoroughly enjoyed it ! Yes, compared to other restaurants in Munich, it is expensive but for the quality of service and food it is definitely worth it !! Enjoy !

I went to Trader Vics for my birthday with my parents on a Saturday night. Food was excellent and portions are generous but sadly their service was crap considering it is Bayerischer Hof and no main course goes under 20 EUR. My Dad ordered a beer with his food but the beer only arrived after he had already finished his course. Once we finished our drinks no one asked whether we wanted more or something else. Getting the bill was another challenge. In my opinion they were understaffed for a Saturday night and I am actually annoyed that their slow service put a damp on my night.

one of the best places in munich. if you go there you are guaranteed a great evening. go for the cocktails and the great appetizers.

Went last week for cocktails & dinner. Wow, food & Mai Tai's were fantastic. Best BBQ spare ribs in Munich by far! Service was very attentive. Highly recommended.

Had dinner here recently and was well impressed. Service was excellent. Attentive but stealthy! Like little blue ninja on a conveyor belt. Bottled water €4.10 Whiskey sour €8.90 Mojito €9.30 Thai Satay €9.50 Chicken cashew €17.90 Calcutta prawns €25.80 Food was absolutely perfect. Pricier than many but you gets what you pays for. I've never eaten there before but will most definitely go back.

Why we like this place: The music is not overwhelming. We can actually communicate without sign language. I agree the mentioned prices are not cheap. But look at the prices in Sweden. Just came back from a business trip. A Bavarian bargain. Should also mention we never ate anything at Trader Vic’s.
