Tiefenrausch is a very cool bar and club. They have a bar area and two separate rooms on either side - "the blue room" and "the red room". All three rooms feature aquariums built into the tables and walls. Yes, aquariums. With real live fish! They have a similar concept at Scalar Lounge. Is subjecting goldfish to loud house music every evening cruel? I dunno. But apparently fish don't have ears, so they can't hear anything, right?

We were there Saturday night and I was pretty disappointed. There wasn't any atmosphere at all, at least imho. Cocktails were alright, when we finally got them, which took ages. For me it looked more like a wanna be club. Wasn't many ppl in there either for a Saturday night. Big plus was that we got two big Tequila Sunrise for free as they were left over at the bar. Music..... well, for those who like it... For me it was more "4am, so get the hell out of here" music.
