Just one personal review - might not be representative!
We went here Saturday night just to check it out. Doubt we will be going back unless they have some special event. The crowd was young and a bit obnoxious, and the music was uninspiring.

ENTRY: 6 Euro
DOOR: Not Selective
ATMOSPHERE: small, and not much space to sit or chill, two bars, not much ambience.
GENDER RATIO: Balanced
SOUND: Muddy
MUSIC SELECTION: Repetitive and soulless Big Party Beats, not my taste
This information is, of course, filtered through my personal taste... but hopefully it is somehow helpful.

Well, I don't really agree with what this Pao guy thinks. It is not place to sit and chill, no. But then again, The Garden is a dance club, and a fairly good one in my view. Not too big, only one room really, but a high roof and it feels spacey. The DJ booth is in the centre and a big and lively surrounding dancefloor. I went last Summer (2003) on a Sat night, and quality house music was stomping out from a good sound system - to a crowd that knew why they were there (to dance), as opposed to chillin (which u can do before in a bar (Nektar Bar would be my choice) and afterwards in a private flat - with a few blondes and dumb models that u pick up from P1 after closing time! So, get ur dancin shoes on, pop one or two pills if ur into that, get drunk, lift ur hands up in the air, and dance ur arse off!!! Peace.

This is the perfect place to dance...n then dance some more again. Would head there every weekend...but it is hard to convince people to go there!(WHYY!!) Who cares if the place is tiny compared to other clubs. As long as you enjoy the music there..nothing else matters!
Posted by: "Anonymous" at 1:17 am on 8.Jul.2005This club is dire!! It's full of 35 year olds in wooly jumpers, off their faces dancing to the same song which has been left on repeat (which can i add, i swear is the yellow demo button from an Argos key board!) No atmosphere here whatsoever. I found myself stroking my pulsating vein on my head! Definately one to avoid!!
Posted by: "vanessa" at 3:49 pm on 24.Jul.2005Vanessa, are you sure you were at the same place? I was there last week and didn't see anyone older than 30. In fact, most were barely out of their teens. Woolly jumpers? Don't think I've ever seen one of those in Munich. My advice, stay off the salmon.
Posted by: "Happy clubber" at 9:55 pm on 24.Jul.2005It was months ago that i went on a Friday night! I was pretty drunk but i woke up vouching never to go again for the above reasons. All i can say is that you've had a lucky escape mate! I did read about it in a magazine though that Eric Prydz was there?!?
Posted by: "Vanessa" at 7:28 pm on 30.Jul.2005well cant understand what u say here, the garden is one of the best clubs in bavaria, kickass lineup! (moonbootica, holden, tiga, gabriel ananda, andre galuzzi, matthias tanzmann, timo maas for example). There's always a kick-ass-i-wanna-dance-my-ass-off atmosphere in this club, simply everyone is dancing to the music there, which is damn good in this club (if you like techno-minimal-tech-house-electro stuff). so go there, do some speed or some pills if u like that and fuckin have fun!
