Fantastic (and not too pricey) food atmosphere and service, but the wine is *extremely* expensive!

Excellent food, cocktails, atmosphere, service. Very comfortable seats, lots of custions, lots of space to sit - tables not crammed in like too many other popular restaurants in Munich. Great for both romantic dinner for two and dinner party for 10. Thoroughly recommend.

IF you desire Thai with verve, this is perfect... Tem is hot & delivers the right vibe. Worth the trip from New York or anywhere else on the planet. Service is sweet and true so dig deep and tip big. enjoy...

Excellent NYE Dinner! Nice Atmosphere, very good service and reasonable priced - had very nice not pricy wine (17 EUR a bottle is not what I would call extremely expensive...).

nice atmosphere, as already mentioned, nice service, but food wasn't the best Thai I've ever tried.

based on this tip, joined some folks there for dinner. our medium-sized group was perfectly accomodated. dim-lights, cozy table & delicious food @ a decent price (€11,50 for curry w/meat). but we all, ladies included, left the place wanting more. maybe we were just particularly lustful for curry. their pistachio sorbet @ €5 & their savignon blanc for €7 a glass were a bit shocking!

Just had a birthday party/dinner there, and it was fantastic! The food was absolutely wonderful - very fresh ingredients, vegetables cooked just right, spicy without over-doing it, all in all, it was the best Thai that I have had in a long, long time. Be sure to try the duck, as it was prepared with a wonderful glaze and roasted to perfection. Nice.

Went there for dinner and wasn't disappointed! I had the "phad thai" (wasn't what it's called, but it was a rice noodle dish) and my husband had the green curry with beef. We both cleaned our plates, it was really good. The spring rolls were ok, not all that great. It seems like the main dishes are priced right, the appetizers and the drinks are pretty darn expensive, but I'm finding that it's like that at all restaurants - 3 euros for .2L pepsi.

The best Thai food in Munich!!!!! I have tried Thai food everywhere and last Wednesday I went with a bunch of friends to Tem Thai and was extremely impressed. Great authentic food. The staff is also nice. Infact we waited till the restaurant closed but the staff just politely waited till we left. Did not even hint that they have to close. Great time ...will go there again very soooon.

I finally got a reservation at this place and it was well worth the wait. Great atmosphere. Super food. Good service. Not cheap, but worth it. Will definitely go again - Highly recommended.

What is wrong with people's taste buds here? This is not thai food! The food was BAD, the soup sucked and was totally bland and the ingredients used were lacking to say the least. The rice was under cooked. Just basically didn't taste right. There are loads of better thai places then this, however on the upside yes the atmosphere was nice and the service was great..

The photo above is no longer applicable. The decor is very impressive and the lighting just right. This is a very popular restaurant on a Friday evening, but the staff are friendly nevertheless. The food is good, but sometimes noticeably adapted for European tastes. The embossed menues and the tables packed closely together give the impression of fast food. I'd recommend this place for a group dinner out, but not for an intimate dinner for two.

Had a terrible experience there last night. Food took over 1 hr. and the waitress did not apologize once. After 45 min we asked nicely if our food was coming and we got a tart answer that it would be there immediately (sofort), but 15 min later the rice that she brought was cold and the food still wasn't there. This place is snooty and doing their best to be trendy, but the food is only ok and our waitress was down right rude. (Even by German standards...) Won't be going there again.
