Taxisgarten is a beer garden on Taxisstraße in Gern. Super place, not the cheapest, but great atmosphere and loads of tables. Some of the best spare ribs in town.

Take the U1 and get off at Gern, and walk down the Klugstrasse till you reach Taxisstrasse, or take the next one which is Nurnberger Strasse and enter at the rear end near the kids play ground.

If tables and benches run out, one can set up ones own from the storage area next to the bins.

Our favorite beer garden in the Western part of Munich for quite some time. Never had a bad meal there. Prices are alright. Parking can be challenging on weekends. Easily reachable by bike or with public transportation (U-Bahn either Rotkreuzplatz or Gern)

Delicious spare ribs! I goes there with my Picnic lunch box.(salad, fruits...etc) (You need to buy drinks at there, but you can bring your own food too.)

Indeed. Best ribs and brezn! Nice playground for kid plus even a separate baby play area in a grassy corner.
