Tandoori King - Munich

In my 8 years in Munich (now I live iin Ludwigsburg) I went weekly to the Tandoori King in Thalkirchen. Having lived two years in India, I found the Tandoori King the finest Indian resturant in Munich. The Almond korma (m22) is not to be missed.

This restaurant is known with name "Shan". I frequently dine outside and have tasted food in most of the popular and happening Indian restaurants in Munich. In my rating, definitely Shahnai and Shan/Tandoori King get the best Indian restaurant crown in Munich.

We got Shan delivered to our house tonight and are very disappointed. The raita was way too salty (you can almost feel the grains!), the vegetables were undercooked, there was meat in the vegetarian starter, the nan was so tough as to be a bona fide jaw workout to chew, and the tandori meat was not tender. We won't be getting it again
