Tired of typing out SMS messages on your cellphone? Frustrated at the time it takes to spell out each word using those fiddly little buttons? New technology from Siemens is about to become your saviour. The Munich based electronics company is currently testing a pen-phone. It has no lettered buttons. Instead you "write" your message on any surface. The pen automatically recognises your handwriting and saves the message. You then write the telephone number, click a button, and off it goes. Genius. I want one! Incidently, the phone pictured below is the Siemens SL55 and was designed by Toytown's very own industrial designer extraordinaire - Graham Keevy of designafairs.
