Type: Pakistani and Indian Restaurant
Opened sometime in 2005 at the premises formerly occupied by the Ginkao Thai restaurant.

Been here a couple of times now due to its handy location near a friend :) and very close to Isartor S-Bahn/trams. Good service there, extremely friendly - we had a free glass of Prosecco on arriving, free poppadoms, and a free round of those weird mango shots at the end. Not sure everyone always gets those but we did on the last occasion we went. Food was good too, perhaps not up there with Swagat or New Delhi but nevertheless fine and I was suitably stuffed at the end of it. They also do a wide variety of cocktails here, and it's possible to sit cross-legged at low tables if you prefer, or to sit normally. We will definitely go back, which is perhaps the best summary! Posted by: "Lucy" at 2:07 pm on 16.Nov.2005They do a lunch buffet during the week: 2 vegetarian dishes and 1 meat dish, plus rice and noodles, for around 6 euros if I remember correctly. Bread and drinks are extra. To be honest I wasn't too impressed. The food was bland and not at all spicy. In future I'll stick to Goa for my lunchtime curry.
Posted by: "Curry Monsta" at 9:51 am on 2.May.2006Honestly one of the better Indian Restaurants in Munich..service is excellent as is the food. They will basically spice it up as much as you'd like to have it. Really cosy corner area where you take your shoes off!!..can also smoke a water pipe to round off your meal - definately worth a visit..or two!!
Posted by: "Dawn Young" at 11:56 am on 20.Sep.2006Really disappointed. Went because it came top in the Prinz Top Guide this year (I shall never trust them again!), but the plates were cold, as was the rice, and the curry itself was mild and bland even though I'd asked for it a spicy. Shame, because the staff were really friendly and it's all nicely done out inside. My advice would be to go to the Ganesha in Haidhausen instead. Cheaper and miles better food.
Posted by: "Christos" at 1:42 pm on 27.Oct.2006Not a good experience. My starter of vegetable samosas were still frozen in the middle when they arrived. And I mean, frozen. Rock hard. Sent them back to the kitchen and then had them returned a couple of minutes later, boiling hot, obviously thanks to a quick spin in the microwave. Can't really comment on the main course, I'd lost my appetite by then.
