The food for everyone is traditionally served on one big platter with you using bits of Ethopian flat bread to grab what you want to eat. There were 5 of us and we weren't sure what to order, so we asked if the guy could bring us something including a vegetarian part. He did with no problems and it all tasted great. Eating with your hands is a fun thing to do occasionally. The place isn't big, but even so there was only one other table of 3 eating there during the course of the evening. Don't know if that's because it's a bit away from the main Schwabing scene or if Sunday is normally a quiet night. Dinner for 5 of us including a drink each came to around 64 all up. Cheap in my opinion, and definately worth trying again.

Almaz' food was delicious and the place was often packed. I didn't enjoy the food at Selam as much and rarely saw more than a few people in there (I used to live around the corner). In any case, it's not bad, and a fun experience.
