Schwabinger Podium - Wagnerstr. 1, Munich, Germany

After the Schwabinger 7 experience, we started to look differently at our Dutch friend Anthony. He looks like a normal person but there is something strange going on in there. When he recommended Schwabinger Podium for a night out, we weren't that enthusiastic. We were wrong.

This small corner pub is actually quite good fun. They have a live act every night, usually some kind of Beatles revival or heavy rock combo. The night we went, a head-banging AC/DC cover band was playing. Hope the upstairs neighbours were deaf.
If you are in the mood to listen to a home-grown rock concert, check it out. It is cheap, there might be some cute groupies and you could see the embryonic stages of the biggest German band since Scorpion.
