Schwabinger 7 - Munich

Yes, this place looks rough but it's really cool!!! Music is great and people are relaxed. Big tip is to go on a Tuesday evening. As the Munich person would say: urig!

well. I consider myself an (old) rocker and an easy-going regular guest of "scurrile" places. But. But. This is too much also for me. Never seen so many drunken and lost people elsewhere in Munich (and not just in Munich). Never seen a so dirty and disgusting toilette elsewhere in Munich (and not just in Munich). I admit however, that with the right friends and an acceptable quantity of beer in my belly, i could slightly adjust my opinion.

This is the best bar ever. Literally. It is a fact. It really doesn't get better than this. We are a group of Americans who studied in Munich for a year, and we can all honestly say that this is THE best bar in the world.

Wow. Been there on oct 3rd with the most gorgeous girl I ever met. But even without her I think its a great place to go. Great music, Hard to find but once youre in>>>>>>>>> great. Def go there again

one of my local favorites. friendly people that make eye contact and converse with (gasp) actual strangers in a bar... bartenders that smile... non-mainstream music... low key munich at its best

Greetings from Australia! Yes, the 7 still exists! I was last there in 2000. It's changed a bit, yet still original. From 1975-1978 it was better - mostly the music (The Doors...). Does anyone know Manila or Ed? Are you still there, Walter Roesler? Ingrid.

this bar sucks! this bar really sucks! the barkeepers are ignorant! they obviously think, they are in new york, but you know, it's really just a little backyard hut with a couple of stupid drunks who touch any girl's ass! GIRLS, don't go there, the worst bar in munich by far!

This bar is awesome! Music's great, atmosphere rocks, and you can just touch any girl's ass whenever you want!

you don´t deserve to have found this place if the best thing you can say is that you can touch any girls arse ...go to some club by the bahnhof and you have that galore ....

It was really cool there... Very comfortable and the people in the bar are nice. The prices are really reasonable. Will be back there in New Year!!! Yeah!

I used to live in Schwabing 29 years ago , and really loved this place, was a fantasic place to hang out in!! Is it still there...?? Cos I'm visiting for the first time in all those years next week and would love to pay a visit if still open. Great if someone could let me know..

Yeah it is a great place, been there a couple of times with friends, great music and great people( at least most of them). Once, about a month ago, some women tried to throw me out of the bar though, for no apparent reason,in the end i just concluded they were racist, as I was the only chocolate person there. Nevertheless, I stood my ground, refused to leave, threw one hell of a tantrum and almost beat them up. By the end of the night, they were busy apologising to me, but enough had already been said, they couldnt take back their words or deed. Nevertheless, it is a fantastic place and everyone is down to earth just like the pub itself.

Aren't they closing it down at the end of this year, ripping up the entire ground and putting a whole new buidling in its place, which will not include the S7

I've heard the rumor every year the last couple years. This used to be my favorite place in Munich, and I was happy to close it down 7 days in a row, but since they went smoking club on me, and I was spoiled by my non smoking alternatives, I haven't set a foot in the door. If it's officially going down this year, I'll make sure I'm there for the final party.
