Shalom! What attracted me was the good-looking barman and the sign in hebrew. Typical Munich bar: clean, bright, comfortable furniture. Plenty of tables for couples. Had a peek at their daily menu and sat for a cafe latte (EUR 2,60) and a hand-packed lachs and cucumber sandwich (EUR 1,20) from their cooler. They have a daily menu (order at the bar) consisting of a soup of the day (today was Rotelinsen -- erm, what are linsen in English?), diverse salads, etc. Prices normal for that part of town. Small side salad was EUR 4,50.

Posted by: UrbanAngel at 9:00 pm on 9.Sep.2005I admit we haven’t eaten there. We just stopped for drinks. After reviewing their menu, it appears they are rather expensive (>18 Euro for a main course). I’m somewhat doubtful that Israeli’s will frequent any place with such a derogatory name (although the spelling is somewhat different) The bartender was clueless as to mix our drinks. He didn’t even have some kind of recipe book. The drinks were tiny, each for 8 Euros. I rather frequent Trader Vic’s. I’m somewhat doubtful that we’ll ever sample their food. The restaurant was rather empty anyhow.
