Santoor - Munich

One of the best Indian restaurants I've tried in Munich. The staff are very friendly, the service good and they've got an extensive, but reasonably priced menu.

I have eaten here lots, its out of the city center, but still close to the S8 Englschalkingerstr. Love the large terrace, and the seperate party room downstairs with bar! Was great for a large group of 30 one night. Nice lunch menu.

I eat here all the time as I live 2 mins away by foot. So far I have never been disappointed with the food and the staff really are great. Pricewise it is about what you would expect. If you like your meat, check out the Tandori grill. Tip: if you want your meal spicey, tell them. Otherwise you get it mild, like most Germans want it. That even goes for the Vindaloo.

This is one of the best restaurants in Munich and it really does serve authentic North indian/Pakistani food. Service, food , seating and atmosphere are all excellent. Only down side is that its not in the city center (about 5 min bus ride from Arabella Park)....but the travel is worth it. Try the naan and korma.
