Sankt Emmeramsmühle is a lovely little beer garden nestled in an idyllic former flood plain by the Isar canal. It can be reached by crossing the wooden footbridge (made famous because it burnt down and had to be restored) onto the Isar-Insel and then across a stone footbridge. There is a self-service section at the back, and a service section at the front. Next to the beer garden is a small field where a few cows live. Food is good, though not always excellent, but can be pricey.
Sankt Emmerams Mühle is beer garden and restaurant located in the far north of the English Garden.
Seats 1,200 guests in the beer garden, 150 in the restaurant.
The beer is Spaten Bräu
