This is the best Thai in Munich. I enjoy the great food since years...

Went here on Saturday night. Food good but value not great for size of portions. Main courses start about 13 euros and starters at about 6 euros to 12 euros. A little bit spicy was actually markedly spicy!

just come from the Ruen Thai...absolutely definitely the best thai restaurant in munich with a very extensive and expensive wine list....I'm going back for more.

You say, "absolutely definitely the best". So you've tried all the other 20+ Thai restaurants in Munich then? I'm not saying Rüen Thai isn't the best. Just that the comments here always tend to be a little over the top.

I have been there a few tims and tried about 10 others in munich. I guess with every restaurant, its personal taste, and it depends on the dish you order. Service here is good, sometimes a little slow if you have a big crowd, but I can say I have never had bad food there, its always been an excellent standard. I will of course continue try other thai restaurants and compare;-) Kun Tuk is also pretty good.

I too have tried many Thai restaurants in Munich including trendy Thaifoon, Kun Tuk and Bangkok House, and I have to say, the food here was really excellent. It's a bit off the beaten path, and you feel like you're dining in some Thai granny's house, but the food is really top notch - especially for those looking for properly prepared spicy food, meaning not just chucking in a few chili peppers before the food is served.

I tried it the other night and the food is excellent - defo's worth a try. Not cheap but is worth it.

It's expensive, you don't get stuffed but it really is excellent. The hot dishes are certainly very spicy but without drowning out the other flavours. All the dishes i've had were fragrant, flavoursome and well balanced. I wish i could make green curry like theirs. Definitely worth it for those who really care about food.

Creechitup's review is dead on. I have eaten at few other Thai places (with one being comparably priced) in Munich, but this one is by far the best. If you want to eat there on Saturday night, you must make reservations in advance as it becomes completely booked for the 19:00 slot and on. Highly recommended.

Excellent food was had by the group. The table was laid to perfection with real Thai china. My first and main courses were perfectly spiced and cooked. Can highly recommend this place. And all the waiters spoke English too. They didn't reprimand us when some people who had signed up didn't turn up even though the restaurant was fairly full which I thought was nice. Everything was freshly cooked. One can tell the difference.
