Orangha is dead. Long live Rubico! On Monday 6th December the bar and restaurant formerly known as Orangha will re-open it's doors under the name "Rubico". This is at Klenzestrassse 62 in Isarvorstadt. The team has changed since Orangha, but much of the concept remains the same if not better. The cuisine will be sophisticated, international, and modern. The emphasis will be on unintrusive music, peaceful ambience, top quality food and excellent service. Definitely one to check out!
There will be a menu which changes weekly, as well as a standard seasonal menu.
Also note: rubico is available for private hire on the two days of the week that they are closed (Mondays and Sundays). They have room for about 70 seated guests.

Posted by: "Anonymous" at 3:54 pm on 7.Dec.2004We went to check it out - and almost starved. Came at 19:30, the ordered food was served at 21:15 and then with long breaks between the courses. Altogether the service was crap, including that one of our group was actually insulted, being told he should go to McDonalds if he was hungry (he had asked when the food would come). The food was indeed excellent, the rest wasn't.
