Restaurant Thailand opened more than 20 years ago. It is one of the first thai-restaurants in Munich and is one of the absolute best.

Restaurant Thailand Munich

The most interesting geographic region of Thailand from a gastronomical point of view is the Isan Region in the north east. This is the center of spices and herbs. The variety of the cuisine here is huge and is reflected in the menu. Restaurant Thailand gets the majority of the ingredients directly flown in from Thailand. Besides several carefully selected wines on the wine list they also make one of the best the Maitai cocktails in Munich. Restaurant Thailand has a quite original atmosphere and can have up to 45 guests. The servive is friendly, discrete and attentive.

enak boo... that's what Jakarta people will say about the food in this restaurant. Yang kangen masakan Indonesia, kesini aja. Find it out by yourself the meaning :) And the service, excellent!!

kalau dari Indonesia, mesti cuba Champor, restoran Malaysia. Sungguh sedap masakan nya! Cuba sekali sambal ikan bilis....

Klein aber fein. Ich habe schon lange nicht mehr so gut thai gegessen. Es heißt nicht um sonst, daß das Restaurant Thailand seit 20 Jahren eines der besten in München ist. Ich kann es nur wärmstens weiterempfehlen.

Good food, good wine, good service and a great Mai Tai. Nice that I now know where to eat Thai in the future.

Absolutely true!! Best Mai Tai in town! even beats the one from Trader Vics at hotel Bayerischer Hof If indonesian say the food is great it must be true, as dining out and eating is a number one hobby of all indonesian - specially if you come from jakarta ! Anyway I can only HIGHLY RECOMMEND larb gai, larb ped, yam nue..I've nearly tried all different appetizers here, they are all yummy. Try the crispy fried spicy fish (pomfret) with thai basil or the grilled duck...just yummy

The food was top. Unfortunately the service was crap. 20 minutes waiting for a refill(we gave up), another 15min for the bill. WTF?. We were scoping the place out for a 20+ group. They flailed big time for a couple (Wife and I). It was not crowded. It would be a nice place if one had a squeaky horn to identify when one wants service. take care, space

I had two identical prie fixe with my husband. The first time, it was just great. The second time, disappointing. It was clearly by a different chef. Anyone knows why? Was there a change of chef?

Are there enough vegetarian dishes on the menu? I mean more than salads.
