Built into a an old half-cellar about 50 metres from my house, Reizbar is a welcome addition to the neighbourhood, and is becoming a well known local spot in which to chill out.



Nils Brunner owns and runs the place, and does so in a charming manner. Mid-week it can be quite lonely, but expect to find a mix of students and young professionals lounging around in Armani jeans, Hugo Boss eyewear and the latest Puma trainers at weekends.

The cocktails are great, especially the Reizbar specials. The bar itself is simply decorated with blond wood and indirect lighting. It's not red hot but it is kinda cool, independent and uncomplicated, like the bar version of how cats behave.
