As of August 2005 the Blütenstrasse 4 address is now occupied by bar called Tumult.

On Blütenstrasse, a little backwater street in west Schwabing, there used to be a Greek tapas and dance bar called Chica's. That was until the Summer of 2003. In January 2004 this address transmogrified itself into a bar called Regina's Lounge. This little basement bar is owned and run by a Afro-Canadian lady called Regina Williams. The set up is fairly basic: a bar and a lounging area. Music is black, easy-listening, down-town New York style. Drinks are a little on the expensive side (€3.50 for a 0.3l beer, vodka orange €8), and the clientelle are mostly in-crowd - they all seem to know each other.

Regina's just looks unwelcoming to me - there's always a bloke on the door, stood just inside. I live right opposite so often see the clientele come and go, there don't seem to be many punters - and they often seem to be male only. I at first thought it might be a hostess bar or some such - I'm still not 100% convinced it's not. Also the women I do see about the place cleaning and so on in the day are all black, although few punters seem to be - thought maybe it was a bar for the black part of Munich but I've changed my mind on that now I've seen the clientele. The woman who appears to own it looked quite young but well to do - on the arm of a bloke driving a Mercedes SL500 so not short of a few yoyos.
