This bar has a very Naval theme; it is named after Pusser's rum, which used to be the rum that the Royal Navy served in the daily rum ration. The people you see here tend to be a bit older, arrive in groups and sit rigidly at tables, so it's hard to mingle and merge with a crowd.

The guy who runs the place is (appropriately) called Deck. He has pictures of himself all over the walls and he likes to interrupt your conversations to tell you how great he is. Who cares? I even left my drink to escape the guy once.

Apparently Boris Becker met his soon to be ex-wife Babs here (it’s worth noting that Boris is fabled to have met her in a wide and varied range of places that changes with the telling of the story; see also Caribeau), but I bet Boris never had to put up with stories about Pusser's rum for over an hour, did he? I think not.

I like it. A quiet bar. Interesting decor. But bring your own atmosphere. Service very friendly. Didn't get my conversation interrupted once. Don't come here for the time of your life. But if you're in the center of town and need a cosy quiet drink - i.e. the complete antithesis to the neighbouring Hofbräuhaus - then come here.

Cozy yes, nautical yes (in the yachting club tradition, not the sailor tradition), upscale, but too expensive for my tastes.

very nice piano playing good atmosphere but the service was horrible it is still worth going there cuz the cocktails are really great but for the money you pay you could expect waiters to be more friendly.

Pusser's Painkiller really messed me up. Go to this place only if being tits-up in smelly men's room, barfing up your Scweinsbraten, is you idea of fun.
