Owned by New York Entertainer-Singer, Linda Jo Rizzo, Piazza Linda brings back to life a small live stage like Munich used to be in the 70's, along with southern italien recipes from her father's kitchen.
On the live music nights you will find music for all tastes from jazz standards & classic, thru to soul & blues, latin & modern. Piazza Linda's events program is listed on www-piazzalinda.de.
Opened Tuesday thru Saturday from 6pm.
Prices are moderate and affordable (main dishes from 7,90 - 14,90). A home away from home. Also great spot for birthdays, company, & private parties!

I had been there Sat. march 5. 'Anna Leman' and band performed and Linda did also a couple of songs - great !! The dinner was original italien !! I like the fresh cooked dishes in Piazza linda, so I see no problem in the small menue. Everybody who loves fresh cooked Italien should try Piazza Linda !! I believe Piazza Linda is the only restaurant in Munich including livemusic - not only piano-bar-music. I love it !! andrea Oh, some else - pasta for 5-8 and wine for 4-5 ist very OK ...

On the night we went there was a mellow jazz band playing, and then singing by Linda as well as some of the patrons. Very comfortable and not so loud that you can't have a conversation.

However, in this case, I want to compliment Linda and her staff at Piazza Linda for hosting a fantastic evening. My wife and I and a couple of friends (a Serbian and her German husband) out with us to Thanksgiving dinner. From the moment we walked through the door and were greated warmly, by Linda, to when we left we had a great experience. Food was very good, service was excellent (especially since two people worked the whole room), the music was great and the atmosphere in general was good. We'll be back and I figure a lot of other people would like it as well. biggrin.gif
