Peter and Paul opened in April 2005. Prior to that the venue was known for many years as Iwan.
Unlike Iwan, this new bar targets both gay and straight alike. The interior has been completely redesigned. The new ownership team includes Michi Kern who has also been involved with Pacha, 8 Seasons, Reitschule, and the new Zerwirk.
Peter and Paul is located at Josephspitalstrasse 15, on the corner of Sonnenstrasse between Karlsplatz and Sendlinger Tor.

Was there last night, deco is really nice. They serve a good hamburger for 6.90 (with fries) and 7.90 for cheeseburger. Drinks menu is more varied compared to food menu Crowd is casual, but good looking, at least last night. Didn't hear the music but I was chatting away anyway. It's not as difficult to get a seat as the places around Hans-Sach-Str (e.g. Faun), so it's a great place to pop in and relax for a chat, as the music is not too loud. Just don't stare at the good-looking gay couples sitting in the next tables. Will pop by again when I need a place to hang out and chat with a friend. Not for a full heavy meal though.
