Paulaner Bräuhaus - Kapuzinerplatz 5, 80337 Munich, Germany
A Bavarian beer hall and beer garden. Their unfiltered beer is brewed on location and is very tasty - better than standard Paulaner beer.

I like the small beergarden at round the back. Reasonably friendly staff and the food's alright too´.

Posted by: "Amerikanerin" at 5:48 pm on 18.Oct.2005was wondering when this place would come up. My favourite beer in munich, it's amber nectar, food is also not bad, the brotzeit teller is excellent. Great place to go, and the beer garden is good in the summer.
Posted by: "the mongrel" at 6:18 pm on 18.Oct.2005The beergarden at the Paulaner Bräuhaus is a real city beergarden and is quite shady. It is ideal for both the very hot days and, if rain is forecest, you have the option to take shelter inside as it is a very pleasant, large beer hall and not at all too posh. Posted by: "ian" at 9:02 am on 17.Aug.2006Took a visitor there this weekend and had a relatively good meal. However, the service sucked- it was all smiles and no action. The waiter was friendly and took our order quickly. Food took about 30 minutes to arrive, which was still in the acceptable range. When we were ready to go, we had to ask 3 times for the check, and always got a friendly "sure!" as the waiter walked to other tables to take their orders. It took us over 45 minutes to get out of the place once we were done, and since we had a toddler with us who was falling asleep on the table, I will not go back there anytime soon.
