Pacha - Munich

Pacha is a famous brand of bars and discos around the planet, with the most famous club being the one on Ibiza, where it is feted as being the best club on the island - and if you know Ibiza, that says a hell of a lot. The sign is a double cherry, which almost all of Munich should now recognise after a pretty successful marketing campaign.

Pacha Munich

So, Pacha Munich. It's a franchise - they pay for the name - and it's located in Maximillianstrasse, not far from Karlsplatz.

The girls in Pacha are top of the range; 80% could be models (the rest are just TV presenters or something...), but the emphasis is on feeling good rather than looking chic - expensively down-market streetwear is common. The music is quite funky.

In Autumn 2005 Pacha will move to a new city center location. Rumours suggest it might be in the Fünf Höfe but that is nothing more than a rumour.

Pacha Munich ...hmmmm, now if you want the real deal I suggest Pacha in Ibiza Town or one of the ones in the land of the latinos. The Munich one for me does not live up anywhere near to the Ibiza establishment and what Pacha - the name/brand - really means to me in quality house music and an all round quality clubbing atmosphere. Even the German-release Pacha mix CDs are not a scratch on the Ibiza Pacha mix CDs. The saving grace of the Munich joint is the outstandingly beautiful ladeeeez.. My $0.02 ...may be I'm just too Balearic ! Or may be I want a 'Fabric', 'The End' and 'Pacha Ibiza Town' in our fine and dandy city :-) www.pacha.es

The owner of Pacha is a pretty good friend of mine. Nice guys. the vip lounge bars are really well set out and even though i havent been in over 2 months i still do hope they have the gogo dancers.. and will do so when they open up again. There heaven white nights are fantastic. They really go to allot of effort to get the place looking the part.

Hi, noticed the comments are a bit old. Is Pacha still going strong? I will be in Munich between Wednesday 21st March to Monday 26th what is the best night to go? Is the dresscode still pretty lax?

Hi, was there last thursday was packed, great night out, we did'nt stop dancing, met some guys from finland fun was had by all when they brought us 2 bottles of Moet. Although i enjoyed the Milch bar better on the monday night as the crowd was younger and not all come straight from work! Unfortunately no gogo dancers in pacha and i felt much too over dressed as most people were in jeans...poor effort

Hi was there a couple of time in the last months and i have to say that this place is tolerable only at the after work party... I have been there last weekend and I was a kind of disappointed...I didn't like the atmosphere and music...afer two minutes we wanted to go away, but unfortunately no refund was allowed! If you go there for the first time, better ask if you can have a look inside...at least you won't lose 10 euros!!!
