P1 Ice Bar - Munich

P1 Ice Bar - Prinzregentenstr. 1, 80538 Munich, Germany

From today (30th January 2004), Germany's biggest ice bar is open just outside the P1 nightclub. They've built it along the lines of the famous Swedish Ice Hotels and have used about 100 tonnes of ice and snow. The music will be primarily house with some surprise DJs making an appearance. As they say in the promo info, this will probably be Munich's most temporary bar. Not limited by the authorities, contract or other factors but by the weather. Since it's in the grounds around P1 and not within the nightclub itself, entry will most likely be much easier than the normal situation in the club. (Thanks to Keydeck for the head's up on this.)

The bar is open from 9pm and entrance is free.
