Ododo - Buttermelcherstr. 6, 80469 Munich, Germany

Ododo has a reputation for being cool at the moment, lots of young models and e-media people like to hang out here wearing casual but expensive streetwear.

Ododo - Munich

The interior is very modern, almost austere, with slate grey leatherette benches lining the walls and few styling notes beside the large light-wall, the tiny TV screens embedded in the pillars of the bar and the rubber curtains you push through to enter the place.

Lots of reviews talk about the fondues they serve, but the bowls of rice and noodles are even better. There’s a huge, swinging cocktail card that would take you years to work through. It's a fashionable place, and has been for while, which means that it attracts fashionable people and sometimes some interesting DJs from around the country. Guaranteed to be busy, even early in the week. Book.

i have been there inside every time that i went out of 'pacific times' ... and that´s a lot. cool decoration and not bad caipis ... too chic for me but waiters/waitresses are very friendly. the worst = too many / too young people 4 out of 10 - my score cheers / l.g.

Menu nice and varied, very orange interior, very large range of malt whisky for the type of place it is. Waiter tried to correct my pronunication of a type of Scottish malt whisky. I am Scottish so this was not a good idea on his part. ;-)

Of all the bars in Munich, this is the only one to be listed in the EasyJet in-flight magazine's "Top 50 Bars In Europe". It comes in at number 45 or somewhere around that mark. [/useless trivia]

But easyJet's online guide appears more up-to-date with mentions for Volksgarten, Cohibar, and Armani Caffe. Mind you, it should be up-to-date, it's compiled by someone who reads Toytown!
