I've never been a huge Indian food fan, but after trying the food at Namaskar we now get Indian food from them nearly every weekend.

The restaurant is in Korbinian Platz, so the outside section is in a courtyard setting and the inside is very nicely done with the decor. It achieves a nice ambience. I'm now truly addicted to their Chicken Korma, but all the dishes we have tried there have been great. I've been with friends who set a high standard for their Indian food, and Nasmaskar's definitely passes muster.

Their portions are a decent size -although we've found their take-away portions are much bigger than the sit down ones. They always give extra rice along with that which you receive with your meal, though we've never needed it. The service there is very friendly - and the menu is in English too, which helps me as my German isn't quite up to scratch yet.

Usually for us, it's a take away and DVD on a Friday, but whether we are there for a sit down meal or waiting for take aways, they always offer you a complimentary mango liqueur and you get a serving of papadum bread. Take-aways get a discounted price.

Highly recommended.
