This address is now occupied by a new Indian restaurant: Ganesha

Previous review of Namaskar:

If you like Indian food, this is the place. It's a bit tacky inside, but the key is that it is usually packed with British people, who as we all know are connoisseurs of the Euro-curry.

Good menu, it tastes great and they have a full range of heats and styles. If you know and like a certain dish and it's not on the menu they can fix it up. The waiters speak English and like cricket. I know this because one of the guys here once invited me to play cricket with him and his mates in a Sunday league and got out his copy of Wisden’s Cricket Monthly or something to tell me about Imran Khan and Ian Botham.

Nice place for an after-work curry. They'll make your Vindaloo "english hot" if you ask them.

I agree, the food here is pretty good. Seems about 1 time out of 10 though, they have a different cook working or something, and the food's not so good. But 9 out of 10, good. :) Service can be somewhat slow. For some weird reason it takes a long time to get Nan bread. I'd recommend it though.

one of the gooduns.. attentive service. do the vindaloo proper hot, mouth burning potential.. which is what you need at the end of the day. nothing fancy, generous with the freeby shots at end of meal. easy to get to. sbahn rosie platz.

Went past last night. This place is now closed, and looks to have been empty for a while. I for one, wont miss it!!

Me neither. I had many terrible lunches there as I worked around the corner for a few years. Positively the worst Indian in Munich

This place seems to have reborn as a new Curry House. Its name now is Geshinda(I think).

Its reborn as Ganesha. Ganesh is of course the elepant headed son of Shiva, and Parvati. I've heard good things, and would be up for a trip there, to piss on the memory of the vile Namaskar.
